SuperFly actor Kaalan Walker gets massive sentence after rape convictions
Los Angeles, California - Actor Kaalan Walker got sentenced to 50-years-to-life in prison after being convicted of several horrific sexual assaults.
On Monday, the SuperFly star got hit with a colossal sentence after being convicted of raping four women and three teenage girls he met on social media.
According to City News Service, Walker was also ordered by Superior Court Judge Joseph Brandolino to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
The 27-year-old actor was convicted on April 18 of three counts of forcible rape, two counts each of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and rape of an intoxicated victim, and one count of assault with intent to commit oral copulation involving crimes between 2013 and 2018, according to the outlet.
Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Wallace said she believes Walker is "truly a predator."
In addition to his role in the 2018 action-crime film remake, Walker also appeared in the movie Kings opposite Halle Berry and Daniel Craig.
Walker is also a rapper, who released an EP in 2017. He was arrested in Van Nuys, California, in 2018 after police connected him to a chain of sexual assaults, where he lured aspiring models to a meet-up under the false premise of being hired for professional work.
