The video shows a golden retriever named Leo relaxing on a light-colored sofa with his fluffy back to the camera.

A female voice can be heard in the background, clearly pronouncing the names of different food items. Leo's owner Amanda is filming her four-legged friend in the hope that he will show some kind of reaction to the suggestions.

At first, Leo doesn't appear interested in any of the snacks. Whether the woman offers broccoli, apples, pears, or carrots, the animal doesn't move from his position on the couch.

But his demeanor changes in a flash when she says the magic word: "chicken." Right away, the dog turns to his owner with a heartbreaking look of longing on his face.

The cute video clip received over 250,000 likes and tons of positive comments.

The idea behind Amanda's food challenge is not completely new. As she reveals in the description, she got the idea and sound from the owners of a golden retriever named Elton John.

In a viral video on TikTok, viewers can see that Elton John is also completely unimpressed with fruits and vegetables. Like his fellow Leo, he immediately jumps at the word "chicken."
