Los Angeles, California - Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's supposed reunion is heating up! The singer made a recent trip to LA to visit a friend but also made sure that she spent time with her ex of many years ago.

Let's go back – about 19 years to be exact – to when Bennifer was first born. Lopez and Affleck began their romance after meeting on the set of the 2003 movie Gigli.

Though the movie wasn't very successful to put it mildly, something good still came out of it. And we're not just talking about J.Lo's immortal "It's turkey time" line.

Lopez and Affleck got engaged in 2002 but due to the intense media coverage of their relationship, the two never made it down the aisle. The two stars amicably split but remained good friends, and spoke very highly of one another throughout the years.

Fast-forward to 2021. Both Lopez and Affleck have moved one with their lives. They got married, had children, and continued to make strides in the industry – but are both somehow single. J.Lo recently split from her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, and Affleck broke off his romance with Ana de Armas in January.

So if the former couple is working towards making things official, the timing of everything couldn't be more perfect.

Earlier this month, Lopez and Affleck had a secret rendezvous at the pop star's Bel-Air mansion. After this, Lopez and Affleck jetted off to Montana for a cozy, romantic weekend getaway.

J.Lo then flew back to Los Angeles to attend the funeral of a close friend's mother, but sources told People that Lopez also made time to see Affleck during her trip.

A source spilled to the magazine that Affleck and Lopez have "remained in touch" since their little Montana getaway even though their situation is "tricky."
