Justin Timberlake explains why he left Lance Bass' messages on read

New York, New York - NSYNC may be ancient history, but that doesn't mean its former members don't stay in touch – at least when they bother to text back!

As the saying goes, babies change everything, and celebrities are no exception to this rule.

After being hilariously called out by his N'SYNC bandmate in a viral Tik Tok video, Justin gave the perfect excuse for leaving his old pal on read!

On Sunday, Lance posted a funny, yet shady clip of himself dancing and the caption: "When JT finally responds to my text…," suggesting that Justin leaves him on read.

"It's the little things. Mission accomplished," Lance jokingly wrote in the post.

Well, two can play at that game!

Justin clarified that all is well between the former bandmates by clapping back, "Once those babies show up… your unavailability will all make sense, bro."

That was the ultimate comeback and the 40-year-old conceded by writing, "Touché" on his Instagram story.

All in all, there's nothing but love between these two!

Lance won't have long to wait before he sees exactly where Justin is coming from. Last month, the Single Parents star revealed that he and husband Michael Turchin are expecting twins via a surrogate this fall. This will be Lance's first time being dad, whereas Justin shares two sons, Silas and Phineas, with his wife, Jessica Biel.

Needless to say, the Trolls actor knows a thing or two about tied up with kids!

We wonder what it be like having these two boy band members as dad?
