"Abandoned and unsupported": Lady Gaga's dog walker is asking for money months after vicious attack

Los Angeles, California – It's been two months since Lady Gaga's dog walker, Ryan Fischer, had surgery following a brutal attack while out with her pets. Now, he is asking the public for $40,000.

The man who suffered a vicious attack while walking Lady Gaga's dogs in March now says he's felt "abandoned and unsupported" in his quest for mental and physical recovery, and is now asking the public for financial help.

On Monday evening, Ryan Fischer started a GoFundMe page to raise money for, well, himself.

According to the page, Fischer has been traveling the country and living in a 1991 Ford Falcon for two months following his release from the hospital.

For unknown reasons, Fischer had to part ways with the van, and in doing so, he lost his home in the process.

"With no vehicle, apartment, and having run out of savings and surviving on donations from generous loved ones, I am humbly asking for your help," Fischer wrote.

The current goal for the page is set to $40,000, which Fischer said would go to "supporting a van purchase, travel expenses and welcome all input on retreats for trauma throughout the country as well as queer spiritual leaders and healers."

It's unclear why Fischer asking for such a large amount of public donations.

It's also unknown is what kind of financial help – if any – Lady Gaga contributed to the man who almost lost his life by simply walking her dogs.
