Paris Hilton says she took Quaaludes during her sex tape: "I got hammered"

Los Angeles, California - Heiress Paris Hilton dropped some major bombshells in her new memoir, including ones about her infamous sex tape.

The 42-year-old spilled the real tea behind her 2003 sex tape in her upcoming book, Paris: The Memoir, which drops on March 14.

According to the socialite, her then-boyfriend Rick Salomon "pushed" her into doing the scandalous video and even gave her an ultimatum.

"He told me if I wouldn’t do it, he could easily find someone who would," Paris wrote per an excerpt from her book published in the UK's The Times.

"And that was the worst thing I could think of. To be dumped by this grown man because I was a stupid kid who didn’t know how to play grown-up games."

Paris further wrote that her ex, who she referred to as "scum," promised that the footage would never be leaked - which was obviously a lie.

"I needed to prove something to him and to myself, so I got hammered, and I did it," she said.

"I had to drink myself silly. Quaaludes helped. But I did it," she continued, adding, "I have to own that. I knew what he wanted, and I went with it."

Paris shared that after the tape's release, she felt like the world saw her as a "slut" instead of an "icon."

"I felt like my life was over, and in many ways it was. Certainly, the career I had envisioned was no longer possible."

Paris has shared in the past that the film has given her post-traumatic stress disorder and is always in the back of her mind.

"I was made a villain because of something someone did to me," she said.

Now, life is seemingly on the upswing for the Paris in Love star, who wed her hubby Carter Reum in 2021 and welcomed her first child, son Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum, in January.
