Police are currently investigating James Springer, a DoorDash driver who threatened McDonald's employees at gunpoint simply because he didn't get a Happy Meal.

Last Saturday, he went to a McDonald's in Stafford, Virgina around 10 AM and demanded a Happy Meal.

Unfortunately, the employees were not able to accommodate, because only breakfast meals were available at the time.

The 36-year-old became irrate and threatened to come back with a gun and "execute" everyone, police reported on Facebook.

Apparently, Springer wasn't joking around.

According to witnesses, the man left the McDonald's and was then seen waving a black handgun out of his white Toyota Yaris at two different locations in town, before again returning to the fast-food chain.

When he re-entered the McDonald's, he became aggressive with a customer and threatened employees with the handgun.

Law enforcement apprehended him at the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured.

After he was taken into custody, police discovered the weapon was actually a black BB gun.

The suspect said he incorrectly believed it was legal to point BB guns at people.

Springer's car was confiscated and he was held in jail on $1,500 bond. He has been charged with four counts of weapons brandishing, abusive language, and disorderly conduct.

He never got his Happy Meal.
