Los Angeles, California - Construction glue can't be that strong! At least that's what a man from California thought right before he stuck a red plastic cup to his face and ended up in the emergency room.

Her story should have been warning enough: Tessica Brown (40) decided to use Gorilla Glue instead of hairspray and regretted it immediately.

To remove it from her scalp, she even had to go to a surgeon! Her story made headlines all over the world and she might forever be remembered as the Gorilla Glue Girl.

However, not everyone seemed to be able or willing to learn from her horror experience. Len Martin, for example, couldn't quite believe that Gorilla Glue was really supposed to be that strong.

He decided to run his own test by attachung a red plastic cup to his nose. Only seconds later he realized that this had probably been one of his worst ideas ever.

He couldn't get the cup off his face. Worst of all, part of the container was stuck to his upper lip!

He had to go to the emergency room immediately where the doctors were completely baffled. They even assumed that they would have to remove parts of his lip.

However, Martin got lucky. In a very painful process, they removed the cup from his face.

In order to warn others, he posted pictures and videos on his Instagram.

On the internet, Len Martin's video brought a lot of ridicule as well as warnings. Under no circumstances should the adhesive be used on the human body – ever!

So let's hope that this prevents further copycats.

On that note, Gorrilla Glue Girl is doing well again and the glue has finally been removed!

She decided to donate more than $20,000 to charity. The money had previously been raised on her GoFundMe page so that Tessica could afford to have the stubborn glue removed from her hair.

A doctor had eventually treated her for free.
