Halsey auctions off unique artwork to support abortion access
New York, New York - Halsey has put some of her most daring artwork up for auction with proceeds going toward a big cause.

Five pieces from the Grammy-nominated singer are currently being auctioned by Sotheby's New York, as a part of their Contemporary Discoveries exhibition, until July 19.
Bids start at $5,000, with all proceeds going towards the National Network of Abortion Funds.
"I have been making visual art since I could hold a pen and a brush," Halsey told Sotheby's. "It has always been my first love and my favorite artistic medium."
According to Billboard, each piece was produced by the pop star while performing live on stage at their Detroit, Boston, Nashville, Gulf Shores, and Portland shows during her Love and Power tour.
The 27-year-old has always been vocal about her pro-choice stance, which became more prominent with the US Supreme Court's recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Having made her feelings on the verdict more than clear recently, she also penned a heartfelt op-ed, explaining how abortion "saved" her life after she suffered a miscarriage that required medical intervention.
In that context, it's fitting that Halsey should find a creative, artistic way to fight for and support an important cause.
