Kanye West is now tearing down his new home next to Kim Kardashian's

Hidden Hills, California – Leave it to Kanye West to drop $4.5 million on a house, just to tear it down to the studs.

It was strange enough that Ye bought a house across the street from Kim Kardashian, who he's been shamelessly trying to win back for months on end with no luck.

Not only that, but he shelled out $400,000 over asking price just to make sure no one else would swoop in and get the property over him.

But the rapper isn't planning on simply moving in and carrying on with his life as usual – whatever that even means for Yeezy.

Now, the 44-year-old is going to fire up a construction site right in front of his ex to build yet another home of his minimalistic dreams.

A source told People that the house was always a teardown, and the remodel will be "family friendly" because Ye, "Wants to be able to have the kids over as much as possible."

According to the source, Ye solely bought the house for its location and proximity to Kim. Despite having a home in Malibu, California, the 30-minute distance between Kim's main house and Ye's beachside residence was making visits with their four shared children a bit complicated.

Ye isn't wasting any time transforming the home to adhere to his impeccably confusing standards.

"He has a vision for the house and plans on starting construction ASAP," the source said.

Though Kim recently filed to be declared legally single, it doesn't seem to be slowing Ye's roll in terms of trying to win his woman back.
