Stripping skeletons are too sexy for this Texas neighborhood

Richmond, Texas - Pole dancers usually wear revealing outfits, but in this case, they really stripped down to their bare bones. But the pole-dancing skeletons that one woman used as Halloween decorations were too much to handle for the local homeowner's association.

A house in Texas put a funny twist on the Halloween decorations this year. But not everyone appreciated the joke.

News Channel 6 reported that Texan Angela Nava created a skeleton strip club in her font yard for the holiday. In the scene she set up, the bags of bones are both the eager patrons and the performers at the establishment.

Angela said she had only gotten positive feedback about her decorations.  But then her homeowner's association sent her a letter asking that the "inappropriate" decorations be taken down.

Angela told Channel 6 that these decorations were her way of expressing herself, “This is my way of being creative and having an outlet. There’s no harm. I’m not hurting anyone. Just take it easy. It’s only Halloween.”

Angela wanted to make people smile not cringe

Angela didn't want to offend anyone with her bony Halloween decorations. “We’ve all been cooped up, and it’s been just a terrible year,” Angela said. “We’ve just decided if this brings a little bit of joy and a little bit of smiles to someone, then we’re doing everything right.”

She thinks that the association is overacting. The dancers at this strip club don't even have the necessary body parts to be overly sexual, they are really just some bones in brightly colored wigs and sunglasses.

Luckily for Angela and her stripping skeletons the homeowner's association requested that she take down the decorations by mid November. She said that this was her plan all along. They are Halloween decorations after all.
