New York, New York - Kim Kardashian dished more on the beginnings of her romance with Pete Davidson.

Kimberly is definitely in love, folks!

On Tuesday's episode of the Today show, the reality star couldn't stop gushing when speaking about her comedian boo.

The 41-year-old told hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie that she decided to let her kids meet Pete six months after the two began dating in October 2021.

She said she decided on the time frame after speaking with her older sister Kourtney, who she explained has "been through it" – aka her toxic relationship with Scott Disick.

Kim also admitted that she consulted with "a few therapists" before initiating the intro to her kids.

"I definitely wanted to wait six months and that was the marker," the beauty mogul explained. "It’s different for everyone, and different things work for different people.

"But you just have to do what feels right and try to just be as respectful and cautious as possible," Kim shared.

Of course, Kim had to be "respectful" and sensitive to her ex-hubby, Kanye "Ye" West, who stirred up a lot of drama with Pete over his relationship with Kim – to say the least.

Many may recall that during the explosive fallout and ongoing divorce between The Kardashians star and her ex-husband, the rapper constantly bashed his former wife for having their four kids around the 28-year-old SNL star.

Since then, Pete has been seen having one-on-one time with his girlfriend's kids. Most recently, the Staten Island native was spotted hanging out with Kimye's son Saint West at a shopping plaza.

Nevertheless, despite what Ye and the naysayers have claimed, Kim went about introducing a new boo to her family the right way.

The future lawyer also dished that she didn't jump back into the dating scene after filing for divorce from Ye - something the hip-hop star didn't do.

"I waited a while. I waited like a good 10 months before I was ready to open myself up," she revealed, adding that she was searching for "new energy and something different."

She also spilled that her romance with the SNL star took her "by surprise." From what we can see, this was a surprise Kim definitely needed.
