Los Angeles, California - Britney Spears' fiancé Sam Asghari has apparently been preparing himself for his next biggest role: fatherhood.

Stepfatherhood, to be more exact.

Nevertheless, the actor has apparently been making a real attempt to get know his future stepsons.

On Wednesday, a source revealed to People that the pop star and her soon-to-be husband are now "making an effort to see her kids more, and Sam is also bonding with them."

The insider continues, "Britney had a nice Christmas with Sam. She spent time with her boys too," adding that the 40-year-old is "focused on staying healthy for her boys."

Following the end of Britney's 13-year conservatorship in November, the Toxic singer has had an easier time seeing her teenage sons Jayden and Sean - whom she shares with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Sam's bonding efforts with Britney's sons are clearly proof he's ready to make good on his desire to expand his family with the singer.

The star has also been adamant about having more kids, and her inability to do so while under the conservatorship.

With wedding plans already underway, now seems like the perfect time for Britney and Sam to bring more future pop stars into the world.

In the meantime, it's good to see the singer fully enjoying her life, despite her lingering resentment towards her immediate family.

The Princess of Pop has not held back her thoughts on how poorly the Spears clan, particularly her father Jamie, has treated her over the past few years.

Most recently, she even made a bold move by unfollowing her sister Jamie Lynn on Instagram.

Yet, despite some family ties that still have yet to be untangled, she has her boys by her side.

It seems like there's not much standing in the way of Britney's happiness now – and that's all that matters.
