The Kardashians: Khloé and Kim confront internet trolls in season finale

Calabasas, California – The season finale of Hulu's The Kardashians was heavily focused on Khloé Kardashian's reaction to the news Tristan Thompson had fathered a child with a stranger. But how she reacted behind closed doors was nothing short of shocking.

Episode nine ended with Kim Kardashian filling Khloé in about Tristan's rendezvous in Texas, and episode ten gave viewers a front-row look at how the 37-year-old reacted to the heartbreaking news.

Say what you want about Khloé's relationship woes with the NBA player. By now, it seems like everyone has an opinion on what she did wrong, or why she "deserves" this kind of treatment from a significant other.

For the record, no one deserves to be mistreated, disrespected, and publicly humiliated in the way Khloé has, and the season finale made it clear that she and the Kardashian clan aren't about that life.

If you're team "she should've known better," perhaps Momager Kris Jenner's (66) words will resonate with you: "She keeps recovering and forgiving for the sake of her daughter," and now she's "devastated and humiliated."

If you have any empathetic bone in your body, you likely found it impossible to not feel for Khloé, her daughter True Thompson, and the entire family who admittedly felt "betrayed" by Tristan's (31) manipulative and cheating ways.

Though one would expect the Good American co-founder to be broken every second of the day after finding out about Tristan's affair, Khloé's response was quite shocking.

Khloe "doesn't feel guilty" about walking away from Tristan

When bad things happen to you or those you love, it's expected that you'll reach some type of emotional breaking point.

Did Khloé turn into a puddle of tears while hyperventilating on the phone with Kim (41) when she heard the news? Absolutely – and it'd be weird if she didn't.

What was a bit perplexing was how cool, calm, and collected she seemed to be in the days that followed.

The worst part about this go-'round wasn't even the fact he fathered some "random's" child. Rather, it was that Khloé "found out with the rest of the world."

Rather than giving her a heads-up, it seems Tristan genuinely thought he could keep things under wraps and pray all the legal documents and declarations didn't get leaked. As we all now know, they did.

Kourtney Kardashian (43) said it best when saying, "The lack of honesty is what does it for me," and we couldn't agree more.

Never go against the family

Hearing the Kardashian-Jenners defend Khloé's honor was probably the highlight of the episode, along with witnessing Kim offer non-threats to "the trolls on the internet" who dare speak ill of women in such situations as Khloé's.

When Kim said "it's like 'Dude, what the f**k?'" we felt that.

When Khloé uttered, "It's time to walk away and I don't feel guilty about it," we nodded our heads as to say "yes, girl."

But when she quipped, "Isn't it so f**ked up that society blames me or women [for men cheating]? It’s disgusting and deplorable," we had no choice but to stand and cheer in total agreement.

Though things ended in a less-than-ideal manner with Tristan, it seems like Khloé knows what she wants in the future: Something like what Kim found with Pete Davidson (28).

Speaking of her sister's new love affair with the comedian, she told the cameras "it’s drama free [and] it’s easy," adding that "love shouldn't be this hard."

The finale ended with Kris looking at her phone, telling the crew, "If you could see what’s going on with my family," before "to be continued" flashed across the screen.

This can only mean one thing: there's most definitely going to be a season two. So buckle up, buttercups, because the ride has only just begun.
