New York, New York - Sam Asghari has spilled the tea on his "fairytale" wedding and new married life with Britney Spears.

Britney isn't the only one basking in the newlywed glow.

On Wednesday, Asghari couldn't stop smiling while speaking to Good Morning America about being married to the Princess of Pop.

Though, per the actor, things haven't completely set in.

"The husband thing hasn't hit me yet. I have to wear this thing now!" he joked, pointing to his wedding ring.

"You know, it's just surreal, man."

The 28-year-old added that the newlyweds' wedding was long "overdue."

"It's been a minute. It's way overdue for us. We imagined this thing being a fairytale and it was. And we only had 50-70 people. We wanted to just celebrate, and that's what we did."

Ashgari also spilled on his wifey in general, saying, "She's amazing, she's doing well. She's my wife!"

The pair, who began dating in 2016, got engaged in September as the pop singer's 13-year conservatorship was ending.

The spouses got hitched in an intimate ceremony earlier this month in front of a few of their closest loved ones at the singer's home in Thousand Oaks.

Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, and Donatella Versace were among the few A-listers that attended the nuptials.

Ashgari continued to gush over his blushing bride, who's been very supportive of his budding career in Hollywood.

"I didn't really get noticed until my wife gave me this amazing platform to work with, so I'm always appreciative of that," he continued.

"But let's not take away from the fact that I've been working hard and I was already acting. I don't take any opportunity that I have for granted and I really try to stay positive with everything that's happening."

The Iranian-American actor will appear in the summer flick Hot Seat alongside Mel Gibson, Shannen Doherty, and Kevin Dillon, which hits theaters on Friday.
