LATEST NEWS ON JD VANCE

James David Vance, commonly referred to as JD Vance, is the 50th US Vice President, after being elected alongside Donald J. Trump in the 2024 elections. He is a former Senator and served in the Marine Core from 2003 to 2007.
In 2016, Vance made waves with the publishing of his memoir Hillbilly Elegy, which recounted Appalachian culture and many of the socioeconomic problems experienced during his early years in small-town America. During this time he heavily criticized President Donald Trump.
Since then, Vance has undergone a stark political shift, winning office as a Senator for Ohio during the 2022 midterms. During his time as Senator, he railed against then-President Joe Biden's administration and introduced legislation against DEI programs and gender-affirming care for minors.
Vance went on to secure the nomination for Vice President on Trump's ticket on July 17, 2025. He went on to win the election and replaced Vice President Kamala Harris on January 20, 2025.
